Trainee Salesperson

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trainee Salesperson to join our fast-growing team; the ideal candidate will excel in generating new business and building customer relationships. This role is not fixed to one location; you will be based from our office, but will spend a lot of time out on the road meeting with customers and generating sales.  

Maceland, established in 2002, is a small business situated in West Molesey. The company was taken under new ownership earlier this year and is now run by a professional team who are focused on agile innovation. Alongside our sister company Modup, we install home improvements across Surrey and are now looking to expand the team to meet our fast growing demands.

Duties:  

• Contacting potential customers directly to generate leads. 

• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers. 

• Promote products and services to drive sales. 

• Processing quotes and orders. 

• Handle phone calls and correspondence with professionalism. 

• Supporting the team with in-house sales, where necessary. 

• Supporting the team with various administrative tasks, where necessary.  

Qualifications / Skills:  

• Someone confident, with a high degree of self-motivation and drive. 

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to be persistent and prioritise tasks.  

• Excellent communication skills. 

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.  

• Computer literate; confident in the use of Microsoft Office / Google suite. 

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to undergo a basic DBS check.
